India-Venster

Combining bits of India Ravine with sections of Venster Buttress on the city-facing side of Table Mountain, India-Venster is a much-loved scrambling route.  The views over the City Bowl, Lion’s Head and Camps Bay are unforgettable as you take in the Northern and Western sides of the mountain, before reaching the Table top from the Southern side. This route ticks all the boxes of views, adventure, nature and fun!

Grade B+
Time 3-4 hours, one way, descent by Cableway. Hiking down adds 2 hours.
Cost R1300 per person (minimum 2 people), excluding Cableway descent (R280 per person). Hiking down adds R500 per person.
Difficulty This route involves a bit of scrambling (easy climbing) and you’ll need to have a head for heights. Don’t worry if you have never scrambled before, as Mike will show you the easiest and safest way!
