Kloof Corner

Grade C
Time 3 – 4 hours, one way
Cost R1200 per person (minimum two people, and excluding Cableway fee)
Difficulty This challenging route involves scrambling and ropes. So, if you’re not into that, move on.

Kloof Corner is a wonderfully rocky climb, beginning at Tafelberg Road and leading up to the top of Kloof Corner Ridge, a freestanding buttress attached to Table Mountain. From there it joins up with the India-Venster route, eventually topping out near the Upper Cable station. Mike will ensure your safety on the scrambles with a rope. Perfect for the adventurous, with fantastic views of Lion’s Head, Signal Hill and the world-renowned Robben Island.
